I am a Clarksville native and received my Bachelor's and Master's degrees from Austin Peay State University. I started as a high school counselor in the school system for six years and then took four years off to be a stay-at-home mom. I started working at West Creek Middle when I returned to the school system. I have always loved working with and helping children and their families with their academic, personal and social needs. One of my professional goals has been to inspire students to recognize and reach their highest academic and personal potential. Prior to working with the school system, I was an individual, group and family therapist and worked with the juvenile court system.
