I was born and raised on a beef-cattle ranch in a small town of Colorado. I attended Baylor University earning my Bachelor's of Science degree in Biology and Psychology. Upon graduation, I commissioned into the United States Army as an Armor Officer, where I met my husband. Due to an accident, I was medically retired from the Army in March 2023. I was a permanent substitute at WCMS until January 2024, when I was presented with the opportunity to become a Math and Science teacher. I love working with students, having an impact on their education and being challenged to be my best self everyday!
