I am excited to work with our students this year as the Student Support Coordinator at West Creek Middle School. I will be working with students, teachers and parents to make sure we recognize students for being successful academically and behaviorally, and we will access supports for students who struggle in either area. I taught Language Arts, Reading, and Social Studies for 6 1/2 years in Kentucky and I was an Assistant Principal for 3 years there. This is my fifteenth year at West Creek Middle School and I love being a Coyote! I am a graduate of Austin Peay State University, and I received my Masters and Rank I in School Administration, as well as my Masters in School Counseling from Murray State University. Please contact me at the school if you have any questions or need any information.

I am also the Jr. Beta Sponsor here at WCMS where we have a VERY active chapter! Students must maintain all A's and B's, and may not accrue any discipline points in a school year in order to be members. Members are also required to attend at least 2 after school meetings and volunteer in the community for at least 3 hours, outside of the school day. We support WCMS, Manna Cafe, and The Teacher Warehouse, and we strive to make volunteer opportunities available to all members.
All members who meet the grade and discipline requirements will be invited to join after grades have been posted for the first nine weeks, but membership requirements are monitored all school year.
