Hello! I'm Melissa Castañeda. This is my second year as the Media Specialist at West Creek Middle School. After spending fourteen years teaching with CMCSS, I found my home in the library, where I have the opportunity to share my love of reading, technology, creativity, and lifelong learning with students every day.

In addition to managing the library, I run our school’s Media Team, where students develop skills in broadcasting, photography, and graphic design while producing our school's daily announcements and other media projects. I also have the privilege of serving as the Yearbook Advisor, helping students capture and preserve the memories that make each school year special.

I look forward to another fantastic year partnering with our students, families, and staff.
