2020-21 Basic Supply List – Updated 7/24/2020

  1. 2020-21 Basic 6th Grade Supply List UPDATED 7/24/2020

It is recommended that parents/guardians purchase a padded laptop sleeve to protect the laptop that students will be issued this year. The measurements for the laptop are 12 and 1/4 inches by 9 inches and about 3/4 inches thick. Teachers prefer students to purchase a padded sleeve that contains additional storage space for composition notebooks and folder.   Binder, several composition notebooks-different colors, wide ruled notebook paper, ink pens blue or black, several packs of #2 pencils, colored pencils, dry erase markers, earbuds/headphones, highlighters, a binder pouch, calculator.   Your homeroom (advisory) teacher would welcome the donation of any of these items: Boxes of tissue, package of copy paper and hand sanitizer.  Additional items specific for some classes will come home once school starts.  This year students will not be sharing items (markers, scissors, glue sticks, calculators, etc) within the classrooms so we suggest purchasing extra items for your child during the entire year.

2020-21 6th Grade Jumpstart Information and Video (Dates will be determined later in July)

Welcome to the Creek  2020-21 Jumpstart Video

West Creek Middle School wants to remind you of the upcoming 6th grade Jumpstart program. This is an exciting opportunity for all students to become familiar with middle school before school begins. Along with learning the basics of what to expect in middle school, students will also have the opportunity to meet peers from our feeder schools. It will be a great time to learn about WCMS, make new friends and get a JUMPSTART on the 2020-2021 school year.

The dates for Jumpstart will be announced at a later date.   The days are divided up by alphabet, however, if that date and time does not work for your schedule, you can come at one of the other times or pick the other day and time that works for you.  Example:  Alicia Gloss  would come on Day One, Session 2 because my last name starts with the letter G.  Your child only needs to attend ONE session. This year’s JUMPSTART opportunities are as follows:

Day One

Session 1 7:00-9:00 A-C Session 1 parent meeting 8:30
Session 2 9:30-11:30 D-G Session 2 parent meeting 11:00
Session 3 1:30-3:30 H-L Session 3 parent meeting 3:00

Day Two

Session 1 7:00-9:00 M-P Session 1 parent meeting 8:30
Session 2 9:30-11:30 Q-S Session 2 parent meeting 11:00
